Watch Annapurna Circuit Trek

After a brief tour of Katmandu and visits to several schools that Room to Read helped villagers build, we began our trek around the Annapurna Circuit in Besi Sahar at an elevation of 2,700 feet. On our twelfth day we reached the 17,769 foot La Throng Pass. On our descent through the Kali Ghandhaki River Valley, we passed through villages of Muktinath, Kagbeni, Jomsom, Marpha and Tatopani.
