This documentary explores the creative world of a group of artists who for the past two decades have established and practiced a newly formed style of street art they call do-it-yourself. Their art incorporates a combination of hip-hop and punk rock music, along with graffiti and skateboarding. Among the D.I.Y. renegade artists interviewed for this film are Aaron Rose, Margaret Kilgallen, Clare Rojas, Barry McGee, Geoff McFetridge, Cheryl Dunn, Thomas Campbell and Deanna and Ed Templeton.
