Betelnut, also known as Binglang, examines the struggles of two teenage misfits growing up in an impoverished village in rural China. Ali and Xiao spend most of their time getting into trouble and raising hell on their motorbikes. But when the boys fall in love over the summer, their tough exterior gives way to a carefree spirit that leads them on an existential romantic journey.
