Watch Black Magic

Black Magic is a short documentary that aired on PBS in 1986. The film shows a group of young women competing in the Double Dutch contest. The young women are from Connecticut and are competing for contests and to break the world record for fastest speed. The girls learn that the game of Double Dutch is not only fun, but also hard work and focus. They work long hours to come up with tricks and stunts to stand out. Also the game is about teamwork and being in sync with their teammates. Black Magic is a special that shows how a special group of young women made the game of Double Dutch interesting and fun.
