Blasted!!! The Gonzo Patriots of Hunter S. Thompson is a documentary film that was released in 2006. Following his death, Hunter S. Thompson left a will that asked for his ashes to be fired from a canon from the top of a tower. A group of gonzo fans volunteered a canon, and then went on a long road trip to bring it to the funeral. The fans then had to setup the canon on top of a tower, and then partied at a strange funeral that was attended by famous actors and politicians.
