This boxing drama is based on the true story of Vinny Pazienza, a fighter whose career is derailed when he is seriously injured in a car accident. Having broken his back and been told that he probably won't ever walk again, Vinny becomes even more determined to get back into the ring. He convinces trainer Kevin Rooney to help him, and a year after the accident, Vinny is fighting to get himself back into fighting shape. The film stars Miles Teller as Vinny and Aaron Eckhart as Rooney. It was written and directed by Ben Younger, and it was released in September 2016.
