The movie takes us to the African continent, specifically the Congo, where Marco (Claudio Cassinelli), a young smuggler, is caught by police trying to steal diamonds. He teams up with an American, Charlie (Martin Balsam), who is also interested in the diamond trade. Together, they develop a plan to smuggle diamonds out of Congo using a helicopter. However, things get complicated when they are caught by the authorities, who have joined forces with the rebels in the area. Suddenly, Marco and Charlie find themselves fighting against both sides to escape with their valuable cargo.

As they try to escape, they are pursued by the local chief of police, Colonel Kahler (Georges Rigaud), who is also involved in the diamond trade. However, Helen helps them by providing them with vital information and supplies. She also forms a romantic relationship with Marco, even though she thinks he is ruthless and immoral.
