Matters get even more complicated when their old boss at Le Cochon Farci, Chef Hannibal, re-enters their life, demanding that they provide him with the recipe they stole from him. Together with his henchmen, Hannibal goes on an absolute rampage looking for the recipe, and Paul and Erica must fight to stay alive.

Bon Appetit excels in its approach to the horror-comedy genre. It's hilarious, with the jokes absolutely on point, and yet it never diminishes the terror factor. The plot is engaging, and it keeps you engaged with its sheer absurdity as well as its clever plot twists. Though the topic is a bit taboo, the filmmakers approached the subject with enough sensitivity to avoid complete tastelessness.
