Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes has always liked to keep things funky, and his cheeky alter-ego Boots Electric is bringing it to the next level. Complete with quirky beats, swaggering keyboards and pervy bass lines, Boots Electric debut album Honky Kong- which also features vocals by ex-Distillers singer Brody Dalle- is an eccentric collection of ridiculously catchy tunes that are doused in vulgarity and tongue in cheek humour. The mustachioed rock and roll dandy brought his own demented brand of juiced up hillbilly punk rock to the Garage in London, and we were there to capture it.
