A psychiatrist named Dr. Lila Colleti gets divorced and loses custody of her daughters. She loses custody of her children partially due to the fact that she works as a psychiatrist at a prison for the criminally insane which makes her occupation dangerous. Ed Baikman, one of her patients, gets released and ends up killing her ex-husband and the woman he was seeing. Baikman ends up threatening Lila saying he will say that they planned the murders together.
