On a cold night in Russia, three travellers come across a shocking sight. The remains of a human being is on the side of the mountain on which they are hiking. It doesn't appear to be new, but rather old. Upon further research, they discover that it is the great explorer Jacque Carmichael. He had been lost hundreds of years ago in the Russian forest. Long thought to be murdered, he was the last remaining member of the high society of magicians known as the Cumbliee. Now, with only limited financial resources and a team of dedicated diggers, they seek to learn more.
