Buzz is a dramatic film by an Israeli director. It tells a real-life murder story. The film focuses on two young boys, both only fourteen years old. They are Abel Aloni and Moshe Ben-Ivgi. One night the two boys end up killing a taxi driver, named Derek. Abel is from an incredibly wealthy family and he has the arrogance and ego that come with money. He is the boss and Moshe ends up doing whatever Abel tells him to do.

Moshe comes from a relatively poor background with only a single mother raising him. The film follows the boys' friendship up until they kill the taxi cab driver. They start by only committing small crimes, such as vandalizing property. A local police officer and the boys' school counselor realize they are acting out but all the adults involved feel as if this is just a case of "boys beings boys" and that Abel and Moshe will grow out of misbehaving.

Abel's father also uses his power and influence to make sure the boys never face criminal prosecution for their minor crimes. Abel's father is a lawyer and has many connections in the criminal justice system. Abel's dad has no problem using his power in this way because he does not even believe that the boys have done anything wrong. He thinks all the accusations are a result of malicious gossip.

The boys eventually get bored with their smaller crimes and that is when they decide to commit more serious crimes. They run through a candy shop, destroying it. They even screw around with their classmates and burn them with matchsticks. All of this is not enough and that is when they decide to murder the taxi cab driver. The film is based on a real incident which stunned Israel when it occurred.
