Celebrating 60 Years of the Farnborough Airshow was filmed in 2008. Among the planes flown were the Spitfire and the Sea Hawk, both of which flew for the first time in post-war 1948. The show was sponsored by over 1,000 companies worldwide and the newer generations of professional pilots got to see MiG 29 and the F16 in action for the first time ever in their lives.
