Children of the Corn: Genesis is the eighth film in the American horror series. The film follows a young married couple whose car breaks down on a remote desert road. They find help from an odd family living in a small farmhouse. Stranded for the evening, they are warned not to wander. As they begin to find disturbing information about their hosts, the pair attempts to leave only to be prevented by an unseen force. They call for help from the local police, but witness the officer being killed and tossed into the air by an invisible attacker. All the events can be traced back to a child cult leader hiding in a shed and his followers.
