Sarah Nicklin is particularly strong as the driven filmmaker who is willing to put everything on the line to capture the story, while Michael Reed provides excellent support as her boyfriend and fellow filmmaker.

As for the chupacabra itself, it remains largely unseen throughout the movie. This may disappoint some viewers who were hoping for more monster action, but it actually works to the movie's advantage.
