Hilario greatness as a plastic artist become shattered as he starts living a crazy life in Europe. He takes refuge in the memories of a happy childhood and adolescence, times of exquisite smells of flowers and fruits in his hometown and of his unforgettable first love, Marcolina. After 20 years of absence, Hilario returns to his native country, to please his insistent mother, who demands more attention from him, after the death of her husband. Upon his return, Hilario meets a very attractive young village girl named Eugenia. They immediately start talking and exchanging compliments without knowing the bond that unites them.
