Watch Closed Door

Jim Ransom is a retired lawman that once saved a young man from being executed for murder. Since then, Ransom moved to New York and married a much younger woman named Dorothy. Ransom spoils Dorothy with material objects, but ignores her. Dorothy finds intimacy with Gordon but when she won't run away with him, he decides to rob their home. During the robbery, Ransom comes home to find Gordon and his wife arguing and Gordon's buddy present. In a fit of rage Ransom almost ends Gordon's life until the young man he saved years ago from execution intervenes with the same advice.
