Coffee, Kill Boss is a dark comedy thriller from 2013, written and directed by Nathan Marshall. The film takes place in a fancy office building where the CEO of the company, Alastair Montcrief (played by Eddie Jemison), has been poisoned during a routine meeting. The employees, all suspects in the murder, must work together to find the killer before the police arrive and arrest everyone.

The main character of the film is assistant Eva (Noureen DeWulf), who is desperate to clear her name and find out who killed her boss before she becomes a suspect. Eva is a cunning and resourceful character who uses her wits to gather evidence and uncover clues that might lead her to the murderer. Her boss's death has also created a power vacuum in the company, and Eva sees an opportunity to climb the corporate ladder if she can solve the crime.

Another character of note is security guard Leonard (Peter Breitmayer), who is the only person in the building with a gun. Leonard is a bit of a loose cannon, and his presence only adds to the tense atmosphere of the film. He seems to be on Eva's side, but she can never be sure of his true intentions.

Coffee, Kill Boss is a movie full of twists and turns, and the viewer is never sure who to trust. The film is set almost entirely within the office building, and the confined space adds to the feeling of claustrophobia and adds to the tension of the situation. The movie also has a strong sense of humor, with many of the characters being written as quirky and over-the-top, but never straying too far into caricature.

The film explores themes of corporate greed, ambition, jealousy, and betrayal, which all come into play as the employees try to solve the murder. The characters are all well-drawn and believable, and the acting is strong across the board. Eddie Jemison is particularly excellent as the deceased CEO, Alastair Montcrief, and though he only appears in flashbacks, his presence is felt throughout the entire movie.

Coffee, Kill Boss is a well-directed film that keeps the audience guessing until the very end. The ending, while not entirely unexpected, is satisfying and ties up all of the loose ends in a neat, logical way. The film's pacing is also excellent, and the story moves along at a brisk pace that never feels rushed.

Overall, Coffee, Kill Boss is a highly entertaining film that is equal parts comedy and thriller. The film's sense of humor keeps it from ever becoming too dark, and the performances from the talented cast help to elevate the material. If you're a fan of movies that keep you guessing until the end, then Coffee, Kill Boss is definitely worth a watch.

Coffee, Kill Boss is a 2013 comedy. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.5.
