Watch Death Trench

Death Trench is a horror movie directed by Leo Scherman, who co-wrote the screenplay with Matt Booi. It is set in the final days of World War I and tells the story of a small group of Canadian soldiers who are ordered to take over a German trench. The group consists of a few soldiers, a doctor and a sergeant, who, although they do not necessarily get along, manage to work together in order to complete their mission. However, once they take over the German trench they discover that something is not quite right. There are no wounded soldiers or dead bodies; instead, it is eerily quiet and the walls of the trench are dripping with blood. As they explore the trench, they start to experience strange and inexplicable events.

The first strange occurrence that they experience is when a soldier, Private Campbell, goes to relieve himself and hears someone whispering his name. When he turns around, there is no one there. Shortly after this, the group discovers a room that is covered in strange markings and symbols. The doctor, who is an expert in the occult, recognizes these symbols as belonging to an ancient and sinister ritual.

As the group begins to unravel the mystery of the trench, they start to realize that they are dealing with something far more dangerous than just a haunted trench. They discover that the Germans were performing experiments on their soldiers in order to create a super-soldier that would be immune to pain and fatigue. However, these experiments went horribly wrong and created something much worse.

The group is eventually confronted by a monstrous creature that is the result of these experiments. This creature is incredibly powerful and nearly invulnerable. It is also highly aggressive and starts to hunt down the soldiers one by one. The group tries to fight back, but it quickly becomes clear that they are badly outmatched.

The movie is very suspenseful and has a great atmosphere. It does a good job of building tension and making the viewer feel like something terrible is about to happen. The use of lighting and sound effects is also very effective at creating a sense of dread. The creature design is also quite good and manages to be both scary and unique.

The performances in the movie are solid, with Rossif Sutherland and Robert Stadlober being the standouts. Sutherland does a great job of playing the stoic and tough-as-nails sergeant, while Stadlober is convincing as the nerdy doctor who knows more about the occult than he lets on. The rest of the cast is also good, with no one feeling out of place or like they are phoning it in.

Overall, Death Trench is a solid horror movie that offers a new take on the World War I setting. It is not perfect, with some cliches and some predictability being present, but it is definitely worth a watch for horror fans. The movie manages to be creepy and engaging, and the creature design is definitely a highlight.
