Watch Eisuke Akamine Kobudo

Eisuke Akamine was a direct student of Taira Shinken and as well his senior student. He was the second President of ?Ryu Kyu Kobudo Hozon Shinkokai? until his passing. In this DVD, which was shot in the 1960?s by Mr. Taiju Lee you will see Akamine Sensei performing many of these katas he learnt from Taira Sensei directly. Like his teacher Taira he was also interested in preserving the ancient art of Kobudo for future generations. There is also a short interview with Mr. Lee about his training with Akamine Sensei and then he does a demonstrationof the forms he learnt from Master Akamine. 25 minutes
