A person with dyslexia, an inherited state, has great difficulty learning to read and write. Children with dyslexia often quickly fall behind in school and have learning challenges that other children take for granted. Luis Macias, the parent of a dyslexic child himself, was moved to create this documentary to be a tool for schools, educators, and parents who have or work with dyslexic children. It emphasizes the importance of early intervention and takes a look at life from the perspective of families dealing with this challenge.
