Erma's Wedding is a Chinese documentary-style narrative movie about the minority of the Qiang in China in addition with their connections with the Han majority. This connection is seen through the eyes of Yina Erma, a beautiful girl, and her fiance and they are in the process of planning their wedding. There is realism in this film about the true lifestyles of the Qiang with a lot to be learned about them by watching this film. It shows the many differences between this culture and life in modern China and how both of them have very little in common.
