Watch Escape to U Taphao

In the final days of the Vietnam War, a mass exodus of men and U.S.- supplied aircraft made their way out of South Vietnam to Thailand. It became clear that the North Vietnamese were going to claim the aircraft that had escaped. Plans were made to Smuggle the High-Value Aircraft Including A -1E and H Skyraiders as possible out of U Taphao Air Base in Thailand.
