This underwater documentary visits the most remarkable coral reefs on Mother Earth. In the process, the cumulative effects of human exploitation, such as professional fishing trawlers, and extreme tourist sports, are revealed. It took millions of years for the lives of tiny coral creatures, to layer upon each generation to form the vast, diverse, and colorful formations found in most of the waters of the major oceans. The film examines what is causing the problems. The verdict is quite negative, but hope is offered by oceanographers, their job is to preserve and understand these vast, complex, and most beautiful reefs.
