Erik Weihenmayer is a man who has done something very few people can ever stake claim to doing or even attempting at any point in their lives. He successfully climbed to the peak of Mount Everest. The thing that makes his feat far more impressive than that of others who have accomplished the same goal, is the fact that Weihenmayer is blind. His unbelievable accomplishment has earned him praise throughout the entire world and inspired him to do more for the blind people of the world. His latest journey is taking a group of visually impaired individuals along with him on a trip to the Andes, and eventually the Incan remains of Machu Pichu.
