The name Adolf Hitler is synonymous with evil during the twentieth century. The gruesome and barbaric actions of the German Army during World War II are legendary. Also legendary is the length to which German engineers went while attempting to create new and better ways of killing and causing destruction. Frankenstein's Army 2013 taps into our fear and loathing of the Nazis by depicting their use of the infamous Dr. Frankenstein's instructions to create an army made up of previously dead soldiers that are now supercharged. This new level of depravity may well be Hitler's last desperate grasp at victory. Given the carnage of war, there is no shortage of body parts from which to create new soldiers. The movie is set towards the end of the war on the Eastern front involving Russian troops and the new Frankenstein inspired soldiers. The Russian soldiers are battle hardened but ill prepared to deal with the new super human Frankenstein troops.

Frankenstein's Army is a 2013 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 24 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.3 and a MetaScore of 49.
