From the Manger to the Cross

"From the Manger To The Cross" (1912) is an American silent movie about the life of Jesus Christ. It starts with the prophesy of his birth. After he is born in Bethlehem, his family flees to Egypt to elude King Herod who wants to kill him. The family eventually settles in Nazareth, and Jesus prepares for his life's work. As an adult, he begins to gather disciples, give sermons, and perform miracles. Some find him inspiring, but other people feel threatened by him.
