Golmaal Returns is a 2008 Bollywood comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Dhillin Mehta. It is the sequel to the 2006 hit film Golmaal. Esha is married to Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), who is mute. Gopal is suspicious of his wife Ekta (Amrita Arora), whose behavior has changed, and he hires a detective to find out the reason behind her strange actions. Things take an interesting turn when Gopal's younger sister Sanjana (Anjana Sukhani) comes to stay with him along with her husband, who happens to be the brother of Lucky. This leads to a lot of confusion, and Sanjana gets murdered in her sleep one night. The prime suspects are Gopal and Lucky, as they had a fight with her the previous night. Gopal's life goes haywire as he tries to prove his innocence and find out the real killer. Meanwhile, he also has to deal with his eccentric colleagues (Arshad Warsi and Mukesh Tiwari) and Prakash's father-in-law (Murli Sharma), who is always on his case. In the midst of all this chaos, a mysterious woman named Meera (Celina Jaitley) enters his life and adds to his woes. Golmaal Returns is a fun-filled comedy with a mix of suspense and drama. The chemistry between the cast members is amazing, and they pull off their respective roles with ease. Ajay Devgan is at his humorous best in Golmaal Returns, and the scenes between him and Arshad Warsi are hilarious.
