Goto, Island of Love is a French comedy drama film directed by Walerian Borowczyk. The film follows the happenings of the island Goto, which is ruled by an irrational dictator, Goto the Third. Grozo, a man convicted and destined to fight to death on the dictator's stage, manages to secure a pardon from Groto's wife, Glossia. However, when he is given a gun to execute Glossia after Groto discovers her affair, Grozo makes an unexpected choice and winds up changing the history of the island forever
