This Australian short film is inspired by the life and heroic actions of Harry Saunders. He is a young Aboriginal soldier who departs his civilian life in Condah Mission in order to fight for his country in Papua, New Guinea during World War II. Harry's goal is an altruistic one, hoping that his efforts in the military will be instrumental in helping the Aboriginal people in his country gain much-deserved citizenship, even at the cost of his own life.
