Watch Heaven Come Down

This film examines Pentacostal Christians in Appalacia. By day, they lead ordinary lives with regular jobs and take their kids to school. But during Sunday services, they engage in behaviors that could be called odd at best, life threatening at worst. Snake handling, dancing with fire, and drinking poison are all rituals used by worshipers, in hopes of drawing closer to the Holy Spirit.
