Hi-Lo Joe is a British romantic drama film released in 2017. It chronicles the journey of Joe Ridley (Gethin Anthony) who returns to his hometown years after leaving for London. Hi-Lo Joe is a deeply moving film that deals with the complexities of love, friendship and personal demons. It is a nuanced portrayal of the struggles that people go through in life and how they try to move past them. The cinematography is excellent, capturing the quiet beauty of the British countryside and the bleakness of Joe's internal struggles.
