Based on the novel of the same name, we follow expert police hostage negotiator, Phoebe McNamara as she tries to balance her demanding professional life and her equally difficult personal life of raising her daughter as well as taking care of her elderly mother
McNamara finds herself caught up in a disagreement about policy implementation in her department and this puts her in direct conflict with a fellow officer. Soon violent attacks against her begin and she believes it’s a result of the disagreement with her colleague. However she couldn’t be more wrong.
