Holy Watergate is a documentary special that was released in 2004. The documentary focuses on the scandals that involves the Catholic Church. Mary Healey, a Catholic filmaker, does some research on the Catholic Church for several years. According to her research, many adults, who were children at the time, were victims of abuse by Catholic priests and didn't report it. They feel that they were responsible and eventually create psychological damage to the individual when they get older. The Catholic priests were never prosecuted and continued to abuse children for the next several years. The special highlights the issues of the Catholic Church and shows the good and bad of the church.
