This documentary follows the life and career of Georges Remi, also known as Hergé, the creator of the Tintin comics and cartoons. Remi describes his life in post-World War I Belgium and his development of his beloved characters. The film reveals how Tintin began as a Boy Scout and later became a reporter. It describes Tintin's faithful companion Snowy (Milou in the French version) and the other characters whom Tintin often met in his travels.
With a wealth of footage from historical events, the documentary relates Remi's life to Tintin's and shows the origins of some of his best-known adventures.
