Identity Pieces is a drama filmed in the Democratic Republic Of The Congo, with French and African actors. A very powerful individual in his own land finds out what his life is really missing, by traveling abroad. Mani is the leader of the Bakongo, an African tribe. He has one child, Mwana, who left to study medicine in Belgium. Over time Mani has lost contact with Mwana. So he does the sensible thing, he travels to Belgium in search for her. While in Belgium he deals with happy moments but also with the worst that living in a foreign land can offer. He also finds what he's been missing, his true identity as an individual.
