Watch In A World...

Written and starring the beautiful comedic actress, Lake Bell, In A World... is a hilarious comedy about the hidden world of movie trailer voiceovers. The booming intonation, the over-the-top marketing copy, all the conventions of movie trailers which we take for granted, are made laugh-out-loud funny in this tale of a female voice coach who wants to become a trailer voice-over artist. Although clearly a satire, the characters are affectionately and clearly drawn. Bell's character's relationship with her sister, played by Michaela Watkins, and her brother-in-law, played by Rob Corddry is especially sweet. The cast is filled with all-stars of alternative comedy, including Demetri Martin, Ken Marino, and Nick Offerman. There is even a sweet little love story in between all of the jokes and silly voices. And in the end, this light-hearted movie even has something to say about modern feminism and the way women present themselves to the world.
