The movie begins with Bakhtavar, who is always getting into trouble with his mischievous pranks. One day, while playing near a river, he accidentally falls into the water and is carried away to an island in the middle of the river where he meets a giant named Jhamunda. However, he soon learns that Janjira is also in danger from the Kanas, who are on a mission to capture all the tiny people and take them away.

Bakhtavar meets the King of Janjira, Raja Chatura, who is a kind and wise ruler. Raja Chatura tells Bakhtavar about his kingdom and the Kanas who are always on the hunt for the tiny people. He also tells him about Jhamunda, the friendly giant, who once lived in Janjira before he was banished to the island.
