Watch Jango

"Jango," is a strong man who desires to help his community, his city and his country to get to a better place. His passion impresses many of his peers and so they named him "Jango." His great leadership abilities moved him quickly up the political ladder and soon he becomes the head of the Labor Party of Brazil. His true name is Joao Belchior Marques Goulart but all of his followers call him by this name. Some say that the name means that the person has a dark demeanor about him.

Jango becomes the president and is ready to change everything about the unfair government in Brazil. He is determined to re-create programs to reform the way government deals with land, schools and even the elections. The conservative party is not happy with the choice of the president and does everything in their power to stop him from moving forward. The left side of the government does not think he is a very capable president and is ready to oust him. They put obstacles in his way and try to destroy all of his plans to help his city to become more efficient. Even the military joins in and stops all the progress and Brazil becomes enslaved to a cruel dictator government.

The man called "Jango" born Jao Belchior Marques Goulart fought his entire life against the cruelty and evilness of the dictators of Brazil. He could never get enough support and enough power to make the difference he wanted to. He did leave a lasting impression with many, however, and many missed the passionate president that attempted to bring the much-needed change for the country and the people of Brazil. He did not succeed and after the military intervention had to get out of the country quickly. The government exiled him and he had to make his new home in Argentina where he died.
