Jay Jay is a 2003 Tamil romantic drama film directed by Saran and produced by V. Ravichandran of Aascar Films. The movie stars Madhavan in the lead role with Priyanka Kothari and Pooja Umashankar as the leading ladies. The movie revolves around the life of Jagan (Madhavan), a carefree guy who spends his days boozing and womanizing. Maya, impressed by Jagan's singing, starts to have feelings for him. But their happiness is short-lived as Maya's ex-lover comes back into her life and creates a rift between Jagan and Maya. The rest of the story follows Jagan's efforts to win Maya back and the obstacles he faces in the process.

The movie's plot is simple, but the director has executed it well. The performances by the lead actors are commendable, with Madhavan standing out with his performance as the carefree Jagan. He is effortless in his portrayal of a character who initially seems arrogant and self-centered but transforms into a loving and caring person in the course of the movie. Priyanka Kothari as Maya also delivers a convincing performance and strikes a good chemistry with Madhavan.
