Vicious shark attacks terrorize the beaches of South Africa in December of 1957. As the gruesome death toll mounts, the sharks seem unstoppable. Panic ensues as fishermen, scientists, spotter planes, hunters and the South African Navy are all employed in a massive war on sharks.
