The focus in this fictionalized documentary is superstar 46-year-old insurance salesman Murray King of Long Island, who portrays himself. This supremely boastful and confident salesman is captured by the camera in meetings with actual clients as well as being interviewed about his success. There are also interviews with his associates, and several scenes that are fictionalized, using a variety of actors. King is seen attending a convention in Las Vegas, where his company provides winning salesmen with such amenities as paid escorts as a reward for reaching their sales goals.
