Watch Kleine Freiheit

After his parents are killed by Turkish rebels, Baran who is a Kurd, is sent to Hamburg to live. Once he reaches the age of sixteen he can no longer stay there, he is going to be forced to return to his homeland. Baran's parents had been betrayed by Kurdish rebels and he has no desire to return. Baran meets an African boy, Chernor who is facing a similar situation. Chernor sells drugs to earn money and is openly gay. The two form a friendship that has sexual overtones, as Baran finds he too has little interest in girls. Their friendship continues to grow until one day Baran spots the traitor who betrayed his family. Life will get very complicated for these two friends.
