Watch Langston Hughes' "The Weary Blues"

A brief narrated animation of a poem "The Weary Blues" by the African American poet Langston Hughes. Mr. Hughes was inspired by the Harlem renaissance of his time. The poem is about a very sad performer playing the blues of life on his piano. I found the story jaw dropping and depressing. The poet uses heavy detail in the moments. I wished to capture the actions in his interpretation.
