Watch Late Autumn

In this Japanese drama, a widow named Akiko is upset that her daughter Ayako hasn't yet found the right marriage partner. So she enlists the aid of three older friends, middle-aged men who were college roommates of her husband who meet up with her and her daughter at a memorial anniversary service for her late spouse. Each of the men eagerly agrees to help, saying that it's time for the 24-year-old young woman who lives with her mother, to get on with her life. But Ayako is afraid that marriage means her mother will be left all alone.
