When they ask Antoine if he can teach them how to fly, he agrees and they all spend all night sneaking around stealing the keys to the plane.

Their execution is halted by an unexpected offer from Georgette, who has discovered the identity of the wealthy Frenchman she is supposed to marry. With her father's approval, she offers to marry Hardy's character in exchange for releasing Laurel and Hardy from the Foreign Legion. The friends are thrilled and are released from the legion, but with their usual slapstick trouble-clad comedic timing, they then end up in a wild chase involving a train.
