At the Miami nightclub Numero Uno, all the regulars have big dreams. A gay Vietnam veteran wants to form his own religion. The owner of the nightclub wants to invade Cuba and oust Castro. Even the producer of this film, who addresses the camera from time to time, has big ideas. The nightclub patrons' schemes and wiles unravel in this underground comedy.
