Jack Payne is an author who prides himself in his organizational skills. Though career success is his, he still finds there's something missing. He craves a family life. From a botched proposal, to an unexpected muse in the form of a younger woman, a whirlwind of comedy and romance is about to collapse his notions of propriety. He begins to drown in the quirkiness of new friends and their pasts, but entertains the possibility that he might be the social anomaly, and the quirkiest of them all.
