Watch Mason Wasps: Insect Builders

Mason wasps are solitary insects, unlike other wasps and bees that are social insects. This program shows a female mason wasp building a nest where she will lay an egg. She hunts caterpillars and stuffs them into the nest so the young wasp larva will have plenty of fresh food to eat as it matures.
