The Baltic Sea Coast in Mecklenburg Germany is one of the most unspoilt regions of Germany. Due to the political situation - this area was part of the former German Democratic Republic - not much infrastructure was built in this region. Thus it remained very rural with marvellous beaches and beautiful Landscape. Although the waters of the Baltic Sea are not really warm, a lot of beaches invite at least to sunbathing. But there are also famous cities like Stralsund, Rostock and Wismar. Beautiful old buildings form the centre and walking through the inner parts of these cities is a real pleasure.
